- The entrance is stepped.
- There are 6 steps up to the entrance.
- The steps are all a slightly different height and depth. There are no handrails. There is a small visually contrasting panel on each step.
- The entrance door is manual and has a clear width of 1m. This door is held open during opening hours.
- There is a small lobby inside with a second entrance door - this is manual, lightweight, and has a clear width of 95cm. As the door opens there is 1 step up into the building.
- Inside the building is an entrance lobby with the library office straight ahead.

- The library office is located in the entrance lobby. Please note that this may not always be staffed.
- There are no accessible toilets.
- The standard toilets are all gender neutral.
- There is no lift in the building.
- There is stepped access only between floors.
- The main stairs have handrails both sides, and visually contrasting markings on the step edges.
- There is a secondary staircase between the ground floor and a small section of the basement - this gives access to the library stacks.

Main seminar room
- The main seminar room is on the ground floor off the entrance lobby.
- The door is manual, heavy and has a clear width of 75cm.
- Furniture can be arranged as needed - the photos below show a large central table with chairs around it. Chairs can also be set out in rows if a lecture is taking place.
LAC Room
- The LAC Room is on the first floor.
- The door is manual with a clear width of 68cm.
- This is a small seminar room with chairs around a central table.
